BPMN Process Model in Sparx Enterprise Architect

BPMN Modelling with Sparx Enterprise Architect

Introduction

Sparx Enterprise Architect is a multi-user, graphical tool that can be used for full life cycle modelling from high-level specifications to analysis, design, implementation, test and maintenance models. It complements UML 2.5 with BPMN support and extension elements for analysis, requirements management and process management.

Process modelling is a foundational skill required for the implementation of a complete Business Process Management capability. The methodology and notation used when documenting business processes are extremely important for standardisation. With a standard process modelling methodology and notation, such as BLMN, process objects can be reused, models can be read and understood across business units and process modellers can work across modelling projects without restraint.

Course Description

This 3-day course teaches delegates how to create business process models using BPMN 2.0 in the Sparx Enterprise Architect tool. During the course, foundational process modelling concepts are explained and applied in real world examples and assignments.

Upon completion of this course, delegates will be able to create BPMN process models that capture the various scenarios of business processes in a way that can be understood by the stakeholders.
