TOGAF™ 9 Foundation (Level1) (Public Course)

Introduction

TOGAF™ 9 provides an Architecture Development Method, Content Framework and Capability Framework that can be used as the basis for creating an organisation's enterprise architecture. It has been built up over several years through open participation and collaboration between leading industry practitioners. In addition, TOGAF™ 9 provides a variety of tools, building blocks and resources that facilitate the process and enable the design and development of enterprise architecture across four domains; Business, Data, Applications and Technology.

Course Description

This two-day course consists of detailed instruction on The Open Group Architecture Framework (TOGAF™) Version 9 in accordance with The Open Group’s Level 1 TOGAF™ 9 certification requirement. It includes the benefits of using TOGAF™ to create well-designed enterprise architectures. Upon completion of this course, the delegate will understand the TOGAF™ 9 framework and how to practically apply it to support the design and implementation of an enterprise architecture.

Each delegate will receive a certification examination voucher to complete the required TOGAF™ 9 certification examination at a Prometric centre, if not already TOGAF™ 8 certified.

Prerequisites

Cancellation Policy

Training News

Real IRM trained 18 TOGAF(TM) 9 delegates in London last week in association with IRM UK – all 18 received their TOGAF Foundation certification, and 13 wrote the TOGAF Certified examination. Delegates came from the public sector, financial services and IT.

Real IRM, in partnership with Devoteam, (www.devoteam.dk) presented their first TOGAF 9 course in Copenhagen. The close alignment between TOGAF 9 and OIO (Danish government EA framework) was discussed during the training.

TOGAF 9 training events are planned in Denmark and Sweden for the first quarter of 2010.

Real IRM will host another series of Zachman Certification classes in February 2010. These will be presented by John Zachman and Stan Locke.
