Exploration and Mining Reference Model Releases in July

The Open Group’s Exploration, Mining, Metals and Minerals vertical (EMMMv) forum has created the first reference model specific to the exploration and mining industry.

The Exploration and Mining Business Reference Model was built through the global collaboration of EMMMv member organisations which operate within this sector. The model is earmarked to be released to the public (as a first active version) early in July 2010.

EMMMv members include; Ajilon Australia, Datamine, Fortescue Metals Group, Gijima Mining Solutions International (GMSI), Lonmin Platinum, Real IRM Solutions, and Rio Tinto.
