The Open Group

The Open Group is a vendor-independent and technology-neutral consortium. It is driven by the vision of Boundary-less Information Flow to enable access to integrated information in and between enterprises based on open standards and global interoperability.

The Open Group has been active in the architecture domain for over a decade. Today TOGAF®, The Open Group's architecture development method, is accepted and used around the world as an open framework and preferred method for enterprise architecture

As a leading member and the South African representative of The Open Group, Real IRM is the ideal organisation to bring South African IT customers, vendors, consultants, governments and academics together at regional meetings and workshops so that these specialists may benefit from each others' experiences. These forums highlight various aspects of enterprise architecture so that participants share ideas and experiences.
